Recently, Zhongfu High Precision Aluminum Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Zhongfu Industrial, successfully passed the certification of the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for its 2030 emission reduction target and 2050 net zero target, marking a new step towards green development.
SBTi
SBTi is an international initiative jointly initiated by the Global Environment Information Research Center, the United Nations Global Compact, the World Resources Institute, and the World Wildlife Fund, and has become a recognized gold standard for leading global companies in the field of carbon reduction. This initiative aims to promote companies to reduce carbon emissions globally by setting emission reduction targets that are in line with climate science, in order to meet the requirements of the Paris Agreement and jointly address the challenges brought by climate change.

Zhongfu Industry actively responds to the global initiative for green and low-carbon development, continuously deepens the transformation towards "greening, intelligence, and digitization", adopts innovative measures to reduce carbon emissions, and promotes green and low-carbon development from all aspects of "energy product supply chain"
Zhongfu Industry actively increases the proportion of renewable energy use, with green hydropower aluminum production capacity accounting for nearly 70% at present; The collaborative construction of distributed photovoltaic power generation projects and "source grid load storage integration" projects using factory roofs and highway resources can significantly reduce carbon emissions every year.
Zhongfu Industrial's main products have completed relevant certifications such as SGS carbon footprint certification, GRS global recycling standard certification, and American SCS product recycling standard certification. The highest proportion of recycled aluminum added to metal packaging materials is over 85%. Currently, it has been exported to more than 110 factories in more than 30 countries and regions around the world, with superior product performance and satisfaction from international high-end customers.
As the deputy director unit of the Green Supply Chain Committee, Zhongfu Industrial pays attention to the low-carbon and environmental performance of suppliers in various links, fully integrating the concept of low-carbon and environmental protection into the overall management strategy of the supply chain. The company released the "Green and Low Carbon Initiative" at the 2023 Supplier Conference, working together with upstream suppliers to create a new green and low-carbon industrial chain, striving to provide downstream customers with greener, higher quality, and more competitive products and services, and calling on supplier partners to jointly promote carbon reduction actions in the supply chain.
